Today was my last day working at the library. I was very sad to leave. I loved working at the library, and the people that I worked with are an amazing group. They gave me a terrific lunch, a handmade card and a couple of gifts which are very much appreciated. Saying goodbye was hard, even though I know I'll still see them regularly since it's still my library and I still live just around the corner. It just will be different now that I'm not working there.
I'm excited and nervous about starting my new job next week. I've worked in a bank before, but not this one, and not for a few years. I start training on Monday, so I have the rest of this week off. It's a good thing, too, because I have to take my car through emissions, probably repair something and take it through emissions again, then get it registered permanently since right now I only have a temp plate.
There's also still a lot I want to do around the house to get it into shape before I'm working full-time. Cleaning being the top priority, but putting the rest of the boxes and furniture where they belong is important too. Plus I have some things I'd like to add to my Etsy shop. I just need to take better pictures.
I'm also gearing up for NaNoWriMo. Are you planning on participating this year?
That's where things stand for right now. I'll keep you posted.
